Don who has a very positive, outgoing and energetic personality, brings his enthusiasm for the geosciences and skills development along with his business skills and acumen.   MSc Steve has over 15 years experience in the fields of diamond exploration, engineering geology and marine survey. Having occupied senior positions on the Ormen Lange Gas Pipeline project in Norway, the Ichthys subsea pipeline project in West Australia and the geotechnical team for the new Cape Town stadium built for the 2010 soccer world cup, he brings a multi-disciplinary approach to otherwise specialised fields. Combined with his experience in running his own small construction company from 1998 to 2000 and an extensive practical knowledge of fabrication, machining and equipment design and a passion for teaching, Steve is the ideal mentor to young scientists.
